Sunday Music Share: Can't Get You Out of My Head
Miley Cyrus. You are making it hard for me to hate you now. I've had your song suck in my head for over a week. I hum it in the shower, I blast it in my car, I've even gone as far as to contemplate buying your album. I don't even buy albums anymore! But I can't help it. Your songs resonate with that 16 year old me trapped inside this 25 year old body. That 16 year old that loves the mass commercialized pop sounds of the Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, and N'SYNC. I wish I could quit you, and others like you, but I can't. I love pop music. There I said it.

For me, Miley Cyrus is like nails on a chalk board but I also can't get that song out of my head!!! It's just so damn catchy. I also love her brother's group, Metro Station. I could dance around in my undies all day listening to that music. ;-)

My kids watch Hannah Montana, which honestly makes me want to punch her in the head. But, some of Miley's songs? Very catchy. Can't stop listening once I start.

Haha I can safely admit I'm a Miley fan...YES I SAID IT!!! At least for her latest CD that is. I liked a few songs from her last album, but I feel like she has really grown up since the last one and the newer songs are really good. I dunno...for being 16 on the edge of 17...she seems more real and down to Earth then Britney Spears or any other of the pop divas of our time did.
